Accomplishing Challenges Together (A.C.T.)
A core committee of Pratibimb Charitable Trust met at the Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini in Keshav Srushti, Uttan on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd March 2026 for a residential workshop. The 26 members strong group was ably led by Ulhas Aher, a trustee and an HR expert with a vast corporate experience, especially in training.
The objective of the workshop was to explore the path forward for Pratibimb and iron out the glitches such as role clarity, confusion, interpersonal differences and expansion of the volunteer group. Every individual has a dream about the kind of organization he or she would like to associate with. The group was allowed to dream and express that dream.
There was considerable brainstorming on vision, mission, values, achievements and challenges interspersed with doses of knowledge imparted very cleverly by Ulhas through interactive games and group activities. Hazy concepts like paradigm and perception bias were brought out effectively. How to communicate effectively based on listening, understanding, transmitting and resolution of conflicts arising therefrom using the psychometric tool.
Time management, goal setting and problem-solving are not every person’s capability. It requires clarity of thought which comes from seeing, listening and thinking to understand. The concept of dream organization was seamlessly woven into collective goal setting and a smart action plan that emerged by sifting through individual ideas and group presentations.
A very sensitive and intense subject of ‘back-biting’ which is common when people engage in a joint venture was innovatively dealt with in a practical group activity wherein the pluses and minuses of everyone were highlighted without malice or rancor which are common companions and residues when individuals work together. An old but effective HR tool called Johari Window was used in this activity beautifully.

A framework for future has emerged. It is now time to implement it and move forward with vigour and joy.
